Finally, those summer dreams of fresh powder, carving gnarly turns and the innate joys of congested afternoon traffic along I-70 are becoming a reality. Winter has finally begun, and with it, another epic Colorado ski season.
With more than 300 members, the CSU Snowriders are the largest social group on campus. They coordinate numerous trips and activities throughout the year, including weekend trips to Colorado resorts, movie premieres and a trip to Jackson Hole over winter break.
“We welcome everyone, from the expert skiers to the total newbies. It’s a great chance to come out, meet some cool people, and get on the mountain,†said Brian Vanderpool, the co-president of the Snowriders.
