There is a possibility that at the rate they’re selling, tickets to see Ludacris perform in 10 days may be gone by Wednesday, a Lory Student Center Box Office employee told the Collegian Sunday night.

As of 6 p.m. Sunday, there were 2,250 second-level tickets available, iBox manager Jim Taggart said, which sold at 80 tickets per hour on Sunday.

Saturday morning a line stretched from the Colorado State University bookstore’s buy-back windows in the Lory Student Center basement, past the RamCard office, out of the LSC and onto the West Lawn.

CSU students woke early and stood in this vast line, which formed at about 5:30 a.m., to get tickets to the Nov. 18 Ludacris show at Moby Arena.

The Box Office opened at 8:30 a.m., and by 9:20 a.m. floor-level tickets were sold out. That afternoon first-level tickets also sold out.

By the time the Box Office closed at 5 p.m. Saturday, 4,200 of the free tickets were given out.

Saturday the Box Office sold 1,400 tickets an hour, and from beginning to end the wait time in the line was 30 minutes, Taggart said.

Tickets will be available today at the main ticket office in the Lory Student Center.
