Percussion ensemble concert tonight at UCA

CSU’s percussion ensemble will perform tonight at the University Center for the Arts.

The concert features the percussion ensemble performing contemporary works with a variety of instruments and people. In addition the African drum and dance ensemble will perform traditional pieces from West Africa.

Tickets are $7 for students, $1 for youth ages 2 to 17 and $12 for adults. The concert takes place in the Griffin Concert Hall.

CSU celebrates first-ever Academic Integrity Day

As part of national Character Counts Week, today marks the first-ever celebration of Academic Integrity Day at CSU.

The daylong event features one-hour workshops that will allow students to explore a variety of issues in academic integrity, including how the tenets of academic integrity relate to their specific fields of study and how to avoid accidental plagiarism.

The workshops, led by CSU students, faculty and staff, take place in the Lory Student Center and in Rockwell Hall.

Early voting opens in Lory Student Center

A Larimer County early voting center is open in the Lory Student Center North Ballroom from today until Oct. 29.

The voting center is one of six open across Larimer County where registered voters can go to vote between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Mail-in ballots can also be dropped off at any of these sites.

The centers in Fort Collins are:

  • The LSC North Ballroom
  • The Larimer County Courthouse, 200 W. Oak Street, and
  • Front Range Village, #904 4321 Corbett Dr., Suite 100.
