Campus police are still looking for the man who shot a 21-year-old man from Broomfield in the arm outside of Summit Hall early Wednesday morning.

“Colorado State University police are continuing to make good progress while investigating this incident,” said Dell Rae Moellenberg, spokeswoman for the CSU Police Department.

Moellenberg said CSUPD has no reason to believe either of the men are CSU students.

The victim reported the shooting to Broomfield police several hours after the incident. He did not seek medical attention.

The shooter is described as a 5-foot-7 black man who wore a blue collared shirt with multi-colored stripes and a hat with a red brim at the time of the incident. He was last seen running north toward James Court.

Any new information should be reported to CSUPD immediately at 970-491-3425.
