This weekend, CSU students will watch students perform songs, salsa dance and even do some comedy routines … in drag.
Sponsored by the Student Organization for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Individuals, CSU’s biannual drag show is an effort to raise money for the Northern Colorado AIDS Project and to bring awareness to the GLBT community.
“It should be a fun show. I think it’s our best one yet,†said SOGLBT President Ramon Muniz.
The event is free, but students are encouraged to donate to the foundation at any time during the show.
“It’s just a great venue for people to get out and get together and feel a sense of community in a place that doesn’t really have one,†Muniz said.
