Emergency vehicles responded to an injury at CSU’s new rock climbing facility. A female student was seen at the gym clutching an ankle that appeared to be broken after falling from the facility’s bouldering wall. Bouldering is a form of climbing that does not involve ropes, but is typically no higher than twenty feet.
This was the first major injury at the facility since it opened Sunday morning. Another student suffered minor ankle injuries while bouldering monday, said Outdoor Adventure Program director Rodney Ley.
