The Apocalypse is coming.
The week after Thanksgiving, students with a terrible disease will fill the lanes and avenues on CSU’s main campus with one purpose: Turn the rest of the humans into zombies.
But after the fallout, the campus won’t look like London in “28 Days Later” or the Midwest in the aftermath of the “Dawn of the Dead” zombie attacks.
As part of a glorified national student-led game of tag, CSU students who register in time will either prevail over the university’s own zombie doomsday or become another victim of the outbreak.
Several rules govern the fun, including:
Healthy humans are required to wear numbered identification cards
The infected must don red bandanas, and
Players must visit campus every 24 hours during the course of the game.
The game ends when the last zombie starves to death or the last human gets infected.
Students interested in participating can visit the group’s Facebook site or http://colstate.hvzsource.com/index.php for more information and to sign up.
As of Thursday, Facebook reported there were nearly 1,000 people signed up to participate.
