Following the CSU football team’s upset over the University of Colorado Buffaloes at Folsom Field in Boulder Sunday night, CSU students took to the streets en masse to celebrate.
A mob of nearly 400 students and fans gathered in front of the Morgan Library chanting and singing the CSU fight song before carving a path through campus.
A second mob celebrating on Laurel Street was dispersed by Fort Collins police in riot gear with rubber bullets before the two groups could merge, according to a report by the Fort Collins Coloradoan.
