Junior Stefanie Ferguson fired a five-over 77 Tuesday in the final round of the Ron Moore Invitational in Highlands Ranch to finish the tournament at 11-over par and in a tie for 26th.

The Rams matched their round two total of 303 in Tuesday’s round 3 to finish in a three-way tie for 9th with the University of Arkansas-Little Rock and the University of Mississippi.

Sophomore Kasey Claussen shot a 2-over 74 in round 3 and finished the tournament at 12-over, one stroke behind Ferguson for the team-low.

Sophomore Natalie Stone placed 36th (+14), freshman Kelly Kempton tied for 50th (+18), Cecilia Edlund tied for 76th (+25).

The University of Denver won the tournament, finishing nine stokes ahead of second-place Baylor and 29 strokes ahead of the Rams

The CSU women’s golf team returns to action Oct.1-2 at the Heather/CU Memorial in Broomfield.
