Student government leaders are trying to fire up CSU students in the days before the Rocky Mountain Showdown.

“The Buffs are a huge rival and we want to bring students together,” said Sadie Conrad, vice president of Associated Students of CSU.

ASCSU is set to hold the Grill the Buffs Pep Rally today in the Lory Student Center Plaza from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Along with free buffalo burgers for the first thousand students and giveaways, there are set to be appearances by the CSU marching band, cheerleaders and football players. Transfort plans to announce the winner of four free tickets to the game and a limo ride to Invesco Field at Mile High.
