Friday Aug. 19

Individuals were warned against walking a tight rope near Lory Student Center.

A lost wallet was found and turned over to the police department. It contained a fake ID, and the owner was then contacted and cited.

On Friday evening someone tried to steal a book from the CSU Bookstore. The employees were able to recover the stolen book, but the suspect got away.

Noise complaint occurred at University Village, police were unable to locate the suspects.

Two non-students were warned by police for possessing open containers of alcohol near Routt Hall.

A disturbance occurred at the Campus West Taco Bell.

Another disturbance occurred at Woody’s Pizza but was broken up soon after it started.

Several individuals were warned again to not climb the wall at Corbett Hall.

DUI at Elizabeth and Shields streets. A student was contacted for a traffic violation and found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. She blew a .076 BAC.

A transient was cited for criminal mischief after a citizen contacted an officer and reported damage to his/her property around the 400 block of Remington Street.

Two students were cited and released for open containers of alcohol around Mason Street and Myrtle Avenue.

Two students were cited and released for alcohol possession, one on the third floor lobby in Summit Hall and the other in the USC building.

Saturday Aug. 20

A mall child got her hand stuck in the elevator door at the Morgan Library.

An off-campus student filed a harassment complaint that her ex-boyfriend keeps calling her cell phone.

An individual struck the new stairs at the new transit center and flipped her bike. She was then transported to Poudre Valley Hospital.

A resident of Braiden Hall was arrested for being uncooperative with housing staff and was booked into the Larimer County Detention Center.

A large party was broken up by police in the Whitcomb Street Z-Lot.

Five individuals were contacted on the suspicion of marijuana in the northwest area of Corbett Hall. The five students were the only ones in the area, but police found no marijuana.

A noise complaint was made in University Village, and the residents were warned.

Sunday Aug. 21

A vending machine was tipped over in Ammons Hall.

A student living in one of the residence halls was harboring his minor girlfriend, who was reported missing by her parents. Charges are now pending.

An unlocked/unattended Trek mountain bike was stolen on the east side of the Pathology Building.

Someone opened a fire alarm cover on the 11th floor of Durward Hall. When the local alarm went off, the individual took off.

In the 100 block of West Lake Street, a vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation, and police found that the driver was driving under a revocation. The passenger had an open container of alcohol, and both individuals were arrested. A search of the vehicle by police turned up several baggies of meth, a meth pipe and other drug paraphernalia.
