Theft from Johnson Hall – s-everal items were taken from a desk between 9:30 and 10 a.m. All items re-appeared on the desk at 3:45 p.m.

Fraud at First National Bank – individual tried to cash a very large check. It appears she is the victim of a check scam.

Warrant arrest – victim in the above check fraud case had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on a traffic offense.

Individuals defrauding the Bookstore were located and arrested.

Call of an altered ID at the Ramskellar – individual left before officer arrived.

Alcohol at the 200 block of University Avenue – during a traffic stop it was noticed that a female passenger was very intoxicated. She lied about her identity for about 20 minutes. She was eventually taken to detox and charged with underage consumption and false reporting.

Drugs – juvenile passenger in the above traffic stop was cited for drug paraphernalia and released to parents.

Traffic/eluding – officers tried to stop a vehicle in the 900 block of West Lake Street for a traffic violation. Driver refused to yield and jumped out of the car in the 1400 block of Springfield Drive. Checked the area, but unable to locate. The vehicle was towed.

Alcohol and obstruction on the 1400 block of Springfield Drive – tried to contact an individual who was thought to be the driver in the above case. He ran, but was caught about four blocks later. He turned out not to be involved, but was intoxicated. He was charged with underage consumption, his fifth this school year.

Warrant arrest – individual reported he was assaulted in the 700 block of West Lake Street. A check revealed he had a warrant.
