I was glad to read that Jenna’s article on the “Narnia” movie Friday portrayed it in an accurate light. Many people deny that Lewis’ books (and feature films developed from them) are anything but completely secular.
As the expression goes, “Writers write what they know,” and we all know that C.S. Lewis was a Christian and even wrote books and gave speeches on that religion. So, it would only make sense for his children’s books to reflect his beliefs, if only through a subtle theme.
Thanks, Ms. Ellis, for giving not only a shining review of an excellent movie, but for portraying the truth about Lewis’ intent with his books. Brava!
