A betentacled eye monster rages through a mountain park, drawing attention to just how easy it was to scare people in the 1950s. Admission is free.

Fossil Creek Reservoir Regional Open Space

Approximate 1 1/2 hour nature experience at Fossil Creek Reservoir Regional Space, north of Loveland. Join naturalist Dianne for a chance to see the birds as they return to their night roosts after a day of hunting and feeding. Not exactly a hike, but there may be some hiking involved to get the best vantage point. Bring any binoculars, bird books, etc. that you have. Dress appropriately for Colorado's changing weather.
