Fossil Creek Reservoir Regional Open Space

Approximate 1 1/2 hour nature experience at Fossil Creek Reservoir Regional Space, north of Loveland. Join naturalist Dianne for a chance to see the birds as they return to their night roosts after a day of hunting and feeding. Not exactly a hike, but there may be some hiking involved to get the best vantage point. Bring any binoculars, bird books, etc. that you have. Dress appropriately for Colorado's changing weather. There are no costs for this program. Contact Ann at (970) 679-4561 for more information or check on the status of the hike in case of bad weather. Hike rating – easy to moderate.
