Avalanche Awareness in the Backcountry

Colorado typically leads the nation in avalanche deaths, and Larimer County is tied for sixth place in avalanche deaths for Colorado. Join local avalanche expert Rodney Ley for a slide presentation and gear demo focusing on the "hows and whys" of avalanche safety as it applies to the local backcountry ski areas. Free to all.
