CSU President Larry Penley, on an invitation from Gov. Bill Owens, is currently with the governor on a trade mission to Argentina and Chile. The trip is an outreach and collaboration effort on behalf of the state of Colorado and CSU, said Brad Bohlander, university spokesman. The president is investigating opportunities to establish mutually beneficial relationships with universities in both of the countries. In addition, the trip is designed to promote economic partnerships profitable to the state of Colorado. The trip was made possible through private funding.
