UNM 47-24 win over San Diego State in San Diego

This Week: CSU at UNM in Albuquerque, NM. Friday at 6 p.m. on ESPN2

Next Week: CSU at TCU in Fort Worth, TX

For the third straight day the Rams strapped on the pads in preparation for the teams' second conference road game of the season at New Mexico.

The Rams were out on the practice field for more than one and a half hours, going through a good majority of the practice working on the scout drills for the Lobos.

"We still have a few things to clean up tomorrow morning for about an hour," said senior safety Travis Garcia. "I think we all know what were doing now, we just have to go out and do it."

The Rams will finish the week of practice this morning in a quick walk-through beginning at about 9 a.m. Immediately following, the Rams will board a plane to Albuquerque.

In Wednesday's practice the Rams again went through a drill ending in a game situation field goal attempt. Freshman place kicker Jason Smith attempted the field goal rather than senior Kevin Mark, who has attempted every CSU field goal this season. Mark has made 4 of his 9 attempts with two missed extra points.

It is unsure who the starting kicker will be for Friday's game.
