A man hunting with his sons was pronounced dead at the scene
when rescue officials responded to a call at 11:30 a.m. Sunday
about an injured hunter in the Poudre Canyon.
Harold Kennaryd, 66, was from Gainesville, Fla. He was reported
by witnesses to have been hunting with his sons earlier in the day,
but his sons were not present when the accident happened.
The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office believes Kennaryd’s death
may be associated with a fall that caused a head injury, according
to a press release released by the office.
The Larimer County Coroner’s Office will make the final cause
and manner of death public once analysis is complete.
