After 16 years of involvement with CSU, Brian Snow will be retiring at the end of June.
Snow has been an assistant professor and general counsel to the Board of Governors of the CSU System since 1988. Before that, he served as a member of the Board of Governors for one year.
During Snow’s time at CSU, he helped guide CSU into compliance with Title IX, published a dozen law review articles and taught, without compensation, courses on law in student affairs and higher education at CSU since 1991, according to a letter from CSU President Albert C. Yates to the university community.
Additionally, Snow has aided in assembling a staff for the Office of General Counsel. This team will help with the transition when Snow and Yates leave their positions this summer.
“While my regret at Brian’s leaving is real, it is clear to me that he is eager to explore other opportunities, particularly his interest in writing, speaking and teaching,” Yates said in his letter.
