CSU has decided to leave the disc golf course where it is until after the next Associated Students of CSU meeting, said Brian Chase, facilities management director, in an e-mail to ASCSU President David Bower.
It is expected that the issue will be discussed at the next ASCSU Senate meeting on March 19.
The university planned to move the course over spring break because of safety concerns.
Bower is hoping to have an open forum and possibly discuss having two courses: a smaller and safer course, as well as one that is suitable for the CSU Disc Golf team.
“I think it is great that we’re going to have a little more time to work on the issue,” Bower said.
