The Associated Students of CSU Funding Board allocated $3,180 on Feb. 6 to the Front Range Student Ecology Symposium for their program in early April. This program will be held for all students who are seeking the opportunity to present their research and findings to a scientific audience.
The Action Awareness organization was also granted $744 for the play they hosted, titled “What’s Funny About Climate Change”. The performance, which took place Feb. 15, was a comedic look at global warming, to raise the community’s awareness about the issue.
In addition, this past Thursday, the board allocated $2,000 to the African Students Association for their event in early March, which will be held at the University Village, to showcase Africa’s cultural values and traditions.
